Divorce can be the result of one or many factors. Looking around we would find that there are some common factors that lead to divorce. One of the major reasons of divorce is financial hardship. Couples that get married without planning for future or without taking into consideration the practicability often land up facing financial crisis. On the other hand if both husband and wife have full time jobs then they would have very little time for bounding with each other, or children and it is therefore may result into divorce. Neighborhood and education also plays an important role in marriage stability and divorce rates. Low income families experience divorce far more frequently than those of higher income. There are lots of different problems faced by stepfamilies as compared to the ones faced by first time married couples. For example, spouse may become instant parent upon marriage; one of the children’s biological parents lives in a separate household; etc. Children The decisions that are made between two adults but the consequences are suffered by children. Children living with single parent or step family are more likely to have emotional and behavioral problems as compared to the ones living in two-parent families. Children whose parents had bad marriages or bad divorces are more likely to blame failures in their relationship to their parents. There are chances that after divorce one of the parents might suffer depression and might not be able to take proper care of his/her children. Children may be able to adjust their selves after their parents get divorced however if their parents still continue to fight or put them in middle or if one of the parents disappears then children do face a hard time. Children may also need to change their schools that may result into academic and social adjustment problems like dropping out of the school before graduating, associating with wrong peers, and delinquent behaviors.
